Customer agreement

Booking & Service Terms

Effective: October 21, 2026

These terms apply to consultations, technical-support sessions and on-site assessment or troubleshooting reservations with Steel City Integrators LLC. A separate written proposal or agreement governs installation projects when its terms conflict with these terms.

Payment and appointment confirmation

When a reservation fee applies, payment is completed through the secure payment provider during booking. A charge alone does not create an appointment until an available time is selected and a confirmation is issued.

Non-refundable reservation policy

Reservation fees compensate Steel City for holding professional time and preparing for the selected service. Once an appointment is booked or a live service window is reserved, the fee is non-refundable except when Steel City cancels or applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Rescheduling, lateness and missed appointments

One reschedule is allowed when requested at least 24 hours before the appointment and is subject to availability. A late session still ends at its original end time. A missed appointment or cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice forfeits the reservation fee, subject to applicable law.

Scope and additional charges

Each booking covers one primary issue or project need for the stated duration. Results are not guaranteed. Equipment, materials, permits, licensed trade work, manufacturer fees, additional labor and return visits are not included unless stated in writing. Additional work requires customer approval.

On-site travel

The published on-site consultation price is a starting rate. Travel, extended time and serviceability are confirmed after the address and project are reviewed. Steel City generally qualifies commercial projects within approximately a four-hour drive of Birmingham; coverage is not guaranteed solely because a location is inside that range.

Remote support authorization

The customer must have authority to access the system and authorizes each remote connection. The customer is responsible for backups, credentials, internet service and an on-site helper when needed. Steel City may stop work that appears unsafe, unlawful, unauthorized or likely to damage equipment or data.

Installation projects and deposits

Installation pricing, scope, payment milestones and scheduling are governed by an approved proposal. An installation date is not reserved and equipment is not ordered until the signed agreement and required deposit or milestone payment are received.

Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate contact and site information, disclose known hazards, secure necessary property access and permissions, and ensure an authorized adult is available. Concealed conditions or inaccurate information may change the scope, price or schedule.
